Iddo Genuth and Lucille Fresco-Cohen over at The Future of Things (TFOT)describe an innovative prototype device, coming from the Ben GurionUniversity in Israel, that promises to "help soldiers on thebattlefield determine whether they have been exposed to dangerousbiological agents in under 20 minutes." In addition, this ELISA-baseddevice should also be useful for other diagnostic purposes, such asdetection of common infections, drinking water testing, etc.
