'Pulsating sphere' speaker

JVC has invented a new kind of speaker called a "PULSATING SPHERE"that involves some 17 patents.The speaker has a 12-sided dodecahedral design that pushes out sound inevery direction (like a human voice or musical instrument but unlike aregular speaker). When playing sound through the speaker, it"disappears" -- the sound appears to be coming from everywhere.
