Perforated brake disc pad

The holes in any discs are there for 2 reasons.
1. to aid in cooling the brakes.
2. to remove the waxy detugent film that builds up on the pad face when the brakes heat up during braking, dust removal is also accomplished this way. the waxy film can cause brake fade.
