Glass CD
N & F Label will sell you a glass CD for $830. Touted as completelytransparent (unlike plastic), the sound quality can transmit nearperfectly because of less cloudy interference for the laser. And glassis also far less likely to bend or warp in heat than its plasticbretheren.
Music critics who have tried out the CD said that it's outstanding and virtually like listening to a live performance.
Information on the glass CD is read by laser. Because existing plasticCDs are not completely transparent, information on them cannot be readperfectly. They are also susceptible to bending or warping if left insunlight or humid areas, which leads to sound distortion.
