Self inflating wheel hub for bicycles

Theworld's first auto-inflating bicycle comes fromJapanese bicycle maker Bridgestone. The ingenioushub uses the energy built up in the spinning wheel to power a smallpump hidden inside the hub. The compressed air is fed to the tire/tubethrough a special hose, with a valve to make sure the tire is notover-inflated. The air hub is claimed to be able to maintain correcttire pressure as long as the bicycle is ridden at least 1.8 miles permonth.
