Anti-counterfeiting by embossing materials

The French company Robotic has developed a marking head that consists of a series of number wheels (7) which are applied rotating around a axis. The head prints on the plate and makes a mark which can be 0,2mm deep and wide. The system is developed with an eye for extreme precision, clearly readable markings. It is also applied before the plate material is painted.

The marking is difficult to copy. To remove the code, the material must be changed and the alteration then becomes visible.
