Almost Invisible Zipper

The last time anyone got really excited about zipper technology was probably when someone actually invented zippers. Ever since, we've spent most of our waking hours looking for an excuse to get excited about zippers once again, because we literally have nothing better to do. Literally. Columbia Sportswear must have noticed, because they've come up with a new type of zipper called the Lightrail Zipper.

It's so thin that the seam is nearly invisible when closed, it's soft and flexible, and it closes so securely that it's waterproof. Columbia has worked Lightrails into the pockets of jackets for Olympic athletes, so unless you're one of them, which you're almost certainly not, you'll have to wait a bit longer before you can get a jacket with Lightrail Zippers for yourself.
