Slotted Cup Sleeves

Plastic, paper, polystyrene and styrofoam cups aren’t going anywhere quickly. For the time being, accessories such as the Vario Cup Holder can make those flimsy coffee cups easier to clutch for anyone who’s out of a mug.

Mark Hetterich’s concept is simple, yet clever. It is essentially a pliable polypropylene sleeve with a dip down one side and two lips of protruding material. The malleable band works to protect your fingers from the hot liquid within your cup and it actually stiffens the circumference of your insubstantial vessel. Best of all, the Vario Cup Holder’s unusual handle allows a certain degree of stretch to fit different drink containers, plus you can pinch the two sides together to obtain an ergonomic grip.
