Inattentive chefs are going to love the Scale Gas Range. Naeun Kang from SADI designed the Scale Gas Range to automatically adjust the heat output based upon the dish’s weight.
When food cooks, the water inside it evaporates and its total weight drops. The Scale Gas Range is designed to cool off as the temperature of the dish drops, making it less likely to burn your food and ruin a delicious meal. This simple redesign would make it easier to multitask in the kitchen as you wouldn’t have to worry about keeping an eye on multiple pots and pans at the same time. Kang’s design also features a digital scale which should make it easier to create sauces and broths from scratch.
