Inflatable Wetsuit

Inspired by the life vests used on airplanes, the V1 is the world's first inflatable wetsuit.

Created by big wave surfer Shane Dorian working with Billabong and the survival wear manufacturer Mustang Survival, the wetsuit inflates when the wearer pulls a cord that causes a CO2 cartridge to inflate an air bladder located on the back of the suit.

The suit has been tested by Dorian, who reports that he has not been held underwater for more than 10 seconds.
