Induction cooktop

Induction technology basically means the pot itself becomes the heating element while the rest of the cooktop remains cool. By generating a magnetic field heat is only created when the electromagnetic element comes into contact with the steel cookware. Since the cooking surface only responds to the precise diameter of the pot being used the rest of the cooktop remains cool and safe to touch. The system also allows you precise control over the cooking temperature in the pot and apparently requires little to no preheat time before you're ready to cook.
