Braille playing cards

Card manufacturer Carta Mundi will soon be producing playing cards for the blind. In Belgium there are about15.000 blind people and soon they will also be able to play cards. Carta Mundi releasedearlier the Low Vision brand of cards on the market with larger imagesfor the visually impaired. The unique feature of this new game is that both blind and non-blind people can play together. The production andpreparation for this is not as obvious, as the position must be 100% correct. The language dots on the cards should be tangible enoughto remain legible for the blind. The Flemish government wants to conveythe message so that everyone, even those with a disability, can still dowhat most people do.
