Trashed batteries used for light
We all know alkaline batteries are really bad for the environment ifyou don't dispose of them properly. The right thing to do is send themto special recycling centers but hundreds of tons end up in landfillswhere their toxic innards seep into the earth. Perhaps a good solutionis the Energy Seed, an LED lamp post powered by trashed alkalinebatteries. Because LED lights aren't big power consumer, old batteries can be used.
