MIT designs Water Walls

MIT has constructed a building with walls made entirely of water andthis was showcased at the recent opening of the Zaragoza World Expo inSpain. This first-of-its-kind Digital Water Pavilion illustrates thepotential of digital architecture to create spaces that dynamicallyadjust to people and conditions.

"The design for the water pavilion grew out of a centralchallenge: How to make fluid, reconfigurable architecture?" said CarloRatti, head of MIT's SENSEable City Laboratory. "Our building aims tostand as a possible answer to this endeavor."
