Flexible Silicone Egg Flippers

Brooklyn-based ID firm PensaLLC has recently designed OXO's new silicone turners, reaping thebenefits of both steel and nylon. Silicone, unlike nylon which melts at145 degrees, is heat resistant up to 600 degrees, so the spatula won'tmelt while leaning on the pan, or (god forbid) whilst making a delicatehollandaise. The steel core with silicone coating gives the ergonomictools flexible, non-scratching, and heat resistance properties.
