Sun-brella
A design concept that multitasks in the simplest of ways, this Sun-brella, designed by Greg Douglas Freer, makes eco-minded multi-functionality as simple as staying out of the sun. While it provides shade, the Sun-brella utilizes a trademarked 6'(d) Spherical Solar Panel that absorbs the sun's heat and creates electricity via an inverter that transfers DC solar electricity into AC current. The energy generated immediately goes toward powering a built-in fan on the umbrella's spine, as well as powering gadgets that can be plugged into ports on the spine. When not in use, the Sun-brella also keeps extra energy on tap.
