Laser remote cutting
The technique "laser remote cutting" applies a well-focussed laserbeam, which is moved along the contour of the component by the help ofquickly oscillating mirrors. Here, the speed of the laser spot amountssome meters per second. Due to the interaction of the beam and thecomponent, material is sublimated or evaporated and, thus, iscontinuously ablated until it is completely separated. One essentialadvantage of this technique is the high processing speed, which evenhighly-dynamic cutting plants with linear drives will never reachbecause of the mass inertia.
