Milner Motors AirCar
Yet another flying car is entering the rapidly crowded race. The latestflying car concept to be officially unveiled later this month at theprestigious New York International Auto Show, is the Milner Motors AirCar.Developed by Jim Milner, the Aircar is a completely self-contained fourdoor, four seat advanced-composite road-able aircraft (flying car) withfoldable main wing in the rear of the vehicle and a canard in thefront. It can take you to your destination via air route and when youare done, simply fold up the wings and drive it down the road. Weighingaround 3,000 pounds, the Aircar is claimed to cruise at 200 mph for upto 1,000-miles. It gets its power from two rotary engines that drivedual 28-inch pusher ducted fans and a separate 40 horsepower engine.Well, the prototype they are going to display can't fly. It's just ashowcase to let people know that the flight is feasible. The AirCar isexpected to cost approximately $450,000.
