Solar powered street lights

Solar-powered streetlights can illuminate walking paths, parks or other areas without connection to power lines. In addition to operating totally independently of electricity distribution systems, solar-powered streetlights provide a visible demonstration of the effectiveness of solar energy in meeting energy requirements for lighting in outdoor public areas.In the case of a storm, the streetlights can still provide light if there is no electricity.
