Ceramic microneedles

A team of researchers havereportedly been able to use "two-photon polymerization of organicallymodified ceramic (Ormocer) hybrid materials to create microneedlesresistant to breakage," and they can also be made in a wider range ofsizes than metal counterparts. It's said that these very needles wouldbe "so fine that patients wouldn't feel them piercing their skin."
