Transparent OLED

Researchers at the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany are working on thenext generation of OLED technology, including the ability to createdisplays that can become completely transparent and be turned on andoff at will. Uses envisioned for the displays include OLED overlays ontop of LCD's that could be used to display specific information withoutinterfering with the main picture and automobile windshields withbuilt-in displays that can display information as needed and turn offwhen not in use.
