Internally illuminated license plate

The Illumination License Plate won Gold for the way it opens up possibilities for car design. Today, rear license plates throughout the world are externally lit. As well as forcing cars to have a special body indentation to house the light, external illumination often makes for patchy visibility. By integrating the light into the plate itself, it becomes not only easier to read, but also allows for seamless integration into a car body.
